Dr.Kaiser Speaking at AANS 2013

Dr. Michael Kaiser from the Spine Center was another of our department faculty to speak at the recent Scientific Meeting of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS)

Dr. Kaiser moderated a course titled, If I Could Do That Case Over Again: Discussion of Complications of Spine Surgery. Here, a number of experienced neurosurgeons of various spine specialties discussed lessons learned and gave pearls of wisdom to their younger colleagues. 

Dr.Kaiser AANS 2013 ExpoDr. Kaiser was one of three Panelists at a course on Cervical Spondylotic Myelopathy. In this course, speakers discussed treatment options and guidelines as well as the multiple causes of the condition. They also presented cases, followed by a Q&A. 

In addition, Dr. Kaiser has been given an appointment to the Journal of Neurosurgery: Spine editorial board for JNS: Spine, a publication “devoted to the publication of original works relating primarily to neurosurgery , including studies in clinical neurophysiology, organic neurology, ophthalmology, radiology, pathology, and molecular biology.”
